Terms & Conditions for Room-Res Island: The Luxury Edition
Welcome to the Room-Res Island Campaign
Not only do you get a chance to win an extraordinary trip to a luxury island resort in Thailand, but every booking you make also earns you a 50% bonus in Room-Res Rewards. This campaign is designed to enhance your earnings while offering a once-in-a-lifetime travel opportunity. Please read the following Terms & Conditions carefully to ensure you fully understand and agree to the campaign’s process and rules.
Room-Res Island: The Luxury Edition is active for Australian-based agents with Room-Res accounts for all bookings paid for in Australian Dollars from 18th February to 31st March 2025.
Part 1 - 50% Bonus Rewards for Every Booking
Enjoy a 50% increase in Room-Res Rewards for each booking made and paid for on Room-Res.com during the campaign period, over and above your current tier rewards.
This bonus applies to all bookings for which payment is made in this timeframe. Bookings created previously and confirmed using Book Now Pay Later will earn bonus rewards only if paid during the campaign period. If bookings are confirmed using Book Now Pay Later during the campaign but paid for after, they will not earn bonus rewards. Bonus points are added to your account instantly upon payment, showing as pending until the booking’s completion.
The promotion adjusts tier rates as follows:
• Silver Tier: Normal rate - $1.00 = 0.5 points. Promotion rate - $1.00 = 0.75 points.
• Gold Tier: Normal rate - $1.00 = 0.6 points. Promotion rate - $1.00 = 0.9 points.
• Platinum Tier: Normal rate - $1.00 = 0.75 points. Promotion rate - $1.00 = 1.125 points.
Part 2 - A $50 Bonus
In addition to the 50% bonus on Room-Res Rewards, all agents achieving 25 or more bookings between 18th February and 31st March will receive a $50 Room-Res Rewards bonus. The bonus of $50 will be added to your account within the first week of April at the latest, and usually within 48 hours of hitting the target. The sum of $50 will not change, regardless of your tier.
This $50 bonus can only be received once per agent during the campaign. Making 50 bookings does not earn $100.
Bookings for all product types (hotels, transfers, attractions, car rentals & multi-day tours) count towards the target.
This bonus applies to all bookings for which payment is made in this timeframe. The booking could previously have in Book Now Pay Later status, and if payment is then made during the timeframe, the booking will count towards the 25 booking target. All bookings created and paid for in this timeframe will count towards the 25 bookings target. Bookings made and confirmed using Book Now Pay Later will only count towards the target if paid for in the timeframe. If bookings are confirmed using Book Now Pay Later during the timeframe but paid for after the timeframe, they will not count towards the target.
Part 3 - Secure Your Spot on Room-Res Island
There are nine spots for Australian-based Room-Res agents to join the Room-Res Island experience. Each agent that secures a place can bring a partner or friend to share this incredible experience.
Ways to Win:
• Top Booker: The top Australian-based agent booker on Room-Res.com (total transaction value of confirmed & paid bookings) wins a spot.
• Top Marriott Booker: The top Australian-based agent booker of Marriott International properties on Room-Res.com wins a spot.
• Top Naka Island Booker: The top booker of The Naka Island, Phuket wins a spot.
• Hidden Islands Challenge: Five mystery islands have been selected. The first agent to confirm and pay for a hotel booking on one of these islands instantly wins a spot on Room-Res Island.
• Final Mystery Spot - The Room-Res Island Party:
The Room-Res Island Party - The Final Spot Up for Grabs
The final Room-Res Island spot will be decided at The Room-Res Island Party on 28th March 2025 at The Room Residence, Sydney.
This exclusive island-themed event will feature Thai food, Thai cocktails, and island vibes. At the end of the night, one agent at the party will win the final place on Room-Res Island through a well-known childhood game.
• To qualify for an invite, book any Marriott International property between 18th February and 12th March 2025.
• 20 agents will receive in-person invitations to join the event in Sydney.
• 20 additional agents will receive virtual invitations, allowing them to compete remotely for the final Room-Res Island place.
• The final winner will be revealed live during the event.
The Room-Res Island Experience
The Room-Res Island experience is planned for 7th August to 10th August 2025 on Naka Island, Phuket. Winners will enjoy:
• Flights, accommodation, and meals (breakfasts and dinners) for themselves and their guest.
• Choices from a range of activities, including cooking courses, cocktail-making courses, kayaking, snorkelling off long-tail boats, bike rides, yoga and meditation.
• Participation in The Room-Res Island Games – a tournament of games of skill where the winner will take out a prize worth $1,000.
If a winning agent cannot attend, at our discretion, we may allow the agent to nominate a colleague or friend in the travel industry or allow the spot to pass to the next eligible agent. Room-Res reserves the right to modify the dates or itinerary at its discretion.
General Terms
• Room-Res reserves the right to modify the promotion, including dates, offerings, and terms. Participants will be notified of any changes.
• All decisions regarding campaign results are final and at Room-Res’ sole discretion.
• By participating, agents agree to the campaign’s terms and conditions.
