Terms & Conditions for Room-Res: The Sanctuary Promotion - CLOSED
The Sanctuary was a special Room-Res promotion created to help travel professionals pause, refresh and be rewarded. With a luxury escape on offer and exclusive bonuses up for grabs, it was our way of recognising those who kept moving, kept booking and kept winning.
This campaign ran for Australian-based Room-Res accounts and accepted bookings made and paid for in Australian Dollars between Tuesday, 17th June and Tuesday, 29th July 2025. It has now closed, but you can view the details here to see the kind of experiences Room-Res offers through its promotions.
Part 1 – The Sanctuary Hosted Escape
Seven agents will be heading to Singapore and Bintan Island this November on a carefully curated hosted escape designed to relax, recharge and reward.
What’s Included:
- Return economy flights from Australia to Singapore
- Return ferry transfers between Singapore and Bintan Island
- 1-night stay at Mandai Rainforest Resort by Banyan Tree
- 3-night stay at Banyan Tree Bintan in a private pool villa
- Daily breakfast and dinner
- A program of hosted and optional experiences
- Free time to unwind and explore
Travel dates: Monday, 17th to Friday, 21st November 2025 (returning to Australia on Saturday, 22nd November).
Please note: some meals, drinks, and personal extras not listed on the official itinerary will be at the winner’s expense. The prize is non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. If a winner is unable to attend, Room-Res reserves the right to reallocate the place.
Part 2 – Bonus Rewards & Prize Draw Entries
Agents who reach 20 confirmed and paid bookings during the campaign period will receive:
- 1 automatic entry into The Sanctuary Prize Draw
- $50 in Bonus Room-Res Rewards
The $50 bonus can only be awarded once per agent. Making 40 bookings does not result in a $100 bonus. This bonus is applied after the campaign has ended, once all bookings have been verified as paid in full.
In addition, every confirmed and paid booking into a Banyan Group property (Banyan Tree, Angsana or Cassia) earns one extra Prize Draw entry — but only once you’ve reached the 20-booking minimum.
There’s no cap on the number of entries. For example:
- 20 bookings = 1 entry
- 40 bookings = 2 entries
- 20 bookings + 5 Banyan bookings = 6 entries (1 for hitting 20 + 5 extra Banyan entries)
Prize draw winners will be randomly selected on Tuesday, 5th August 2025 and notified by email and phone.
Part 3 – Performance-Based Winners
Two spots will be awarded to the top-performing agents during the campaign period:
- 1 spot will go to the agent with the highest number of bookings at Banyan Tree Bintan
- 1 spot will go to the agent with the highest number of bookings across any Banyan Group property
These places are awarded based on booking volume only (not booking value). In the event of a tie, Room-Res will review the total transaction value as a secondary measure.
Booking Eligibility
Only bookings that are confirmed and fully paid within the campaign period (17th June to 29th July 2025) will count towards rewards and qualification.
Bookings made under a ‘Book Now, Pay Later’ arrangement will only be eligible if paid in full by the campaign close.
It’s the agent’s responsibility to ensure all payments are completed before the deadline.
Hosted Escape Expectations
The Sanctuary is a professional development experience. Prize winners are expected to:
- Participate in scheduled activities
- Act professionally and respectfully
- Follow instructions from Room-Res and hosting partners
Failure to do so may result in forfeiture of the prize and exclusion from future hosted events.
General Terms
- Room-Res reserves the right to modify the promotion, including dates, rewards, mechanics, and prize structure. Participants will be notified of any changes.
- All decisions relating to campaign eligibility, entries, or outcomes are final and at Room-Res’s sole discretion.
- By participating, you confirm that you understand and accept these Terms & Conditions.
