Room-Res Sip & Learn Connects Agents with USA Destination Partners

Sydney, 6th August 2025: Room-Res welcomed agents to an after-hours Sip & Learn at The Room Residence for an evening of destination insight, practical selling tips and easy conversation. Think smart product updates, helpful collateral and a relaxed room of industry friends. Not to mention some very decent wine.

Hosted in partnership with Linkd Tourism, the session featured the latest updates from Arizona, Colorado, Seattle & Washington State, New York State, and Aqua Aston Hospitality (Hawaii). The focus was simple: provide agents with usable information they can share directly with clients, while allowing time for one-on-one conversations with destination representatives.

“Kicking off an evening like this at The Room Residence lets the conversation flow,” said Kellie, Room-Res. “Agents ask the real questions, partners share what is genuinely new, and everyone leaves with two or three concrete ideas they can sell tomorrow. If you learned something, laughed once or twice and grabbed a tool you can actually use, we did our job.”

Agents agreed that the relaxed format helped their ideas take hold. “I loved that it felt more like a conversation than a class,” said an attending agent. “Arizona had fresh angles I can see clients saying yes to. New York State provided me with two quick itineraries that I can quote this week. And the Hawaii hotels looked brilliant for couples who want something easy and well-located.”

Alongside the updates, guests picked up take-home marketing assets and enjoyed a light lucky draw. The RSVP list ran hot in the final week, a helpful reminder that in-person sessions still spark momentum when you keep them focused and fun.
